Was ich bereits versucht habe
Then I connected the charger and pressed the power button. The laptop then started without any problems and worked perfectly.
However, the laptop could not be started via the power button without a charger connected.
Furthermore, when the laptop was running, the power button did not react as usual: A short press did not put the device into standby mode, and holding it down for a longer period of time did not cause it to shut down.
Apart from that, everything works perfectly. I can use the laptop normally, put it into standby mode, wake it up again, and open and close the screen lid.
The problem always occurs when I completely shut down the laptop. It can only be switched back on once I perform the emergency reset.
Further troubleshooting
I then removed the internal battery and held down the power button to discharge any remaining voltage.
With the battery removed, I connected the charger, after which the laptop started up without any problems. I shut it down and restarted it using the power button – everything worked as usual.
However, after I reinstalled the battery, the original problem occurred again. The power button stopped responding, and no LED lit up when I tried to turn on the laptop. I had to perform the emergency reset again.
Another point to note: I don't believe that the battery itself is necessarily the cause of the problem. When I turn on the laptop via the emergency reset opening with the battery inserted, the battery charges normally. There are no error messages or warnings regarding the battery or charging process. The laptop also works perfectly during operation. The problem therefore seems to be related more to the switching on or off process than to the battery's charging capability.
My questions:
Could the problem be with the internal battery, the power button, the embedded controller (EC), or the motherboard?
Why does the laptop work perfectly when the battery is removed, but exhibit this behavior as soon as the battery is inserted?
Is there a way to fix the problem without having to replace expensive components?
Since the laptop's warranty has already expired, I would try to diagnose and fix the problem myself.
Thank you so much for your help and advice!
