Thinkpad 700c - 2 long, 2 short beeps

As the title, I have known good everything else but this motherboard, when you plug it in, does 2 long low beeps and 2 short high beeps. I can't seem to find this audible code in any hardware manual - does anyone know what it means?

Thank you, that was exactly right. I did not know you could not use a 700 (mono) video board with a 700C (colour) motherboard!
